Coconut shell Activated Carbon in the granular size range of 8 mesh to 30 mesh after carbon dust is rinsed off the product. MobileH2O normally provides coconut grade since it has little to no heavy metal impurities where coal base and bone-based carbons typically do. We provide a size of coconut grade carbon that can be restrained in a filter with a mesh of 45 mesh screen. Our carbon is highly rated by a specific test that indicates the carbon's ability to remove chlorine and light organics. Our carbon is, also, tested and certified under the (NSF) National Sanitary Foundation / ANSI (American National Standards Institute) for use in drinking water systems, i.e. NSF/ANSI 61.
